Running Ishqu needs very little from you, and very little is what we keep. There are no accounts, so there is no name, no email and no phone number.
What gets stored
- Whatever you put on the card — names, dates, and things like that. This becomes part of the link you make, and anyone holding that link can read it. So do not put anything there you would not show a stranger.
- An anonymous ID — created in your browser so “My things” can show you your own links. It does not identify you.
- How many times a link was opened — just the count, never who opened it.
- Product analytics — which tool was opened, whether a link got made, whether it got shared. We use PostHog and Google Analytics. What you wrote on the card is never sent to either.
Quiz answers
The correct answers to a quiz are kept somewhere separate, and cannot be read from the page your friend opens. Otherwise there would be no point having a quiz at all.
What never happens
- We do not sell your data. Not ever.
- We do not track you for advertising.
- We do not set cookies we do not need.
Getting something removed
To have any link taken down, write to us with the URL of that link. We will remove it.
Age
Ishqu is not for children under 13. If you are under 18, use it with your parents’ permission.
